It’s been far too long since my last entry. Sometimes it’s really hard to find time to write a blog post, but I hope to make it a more regular thing.

I finished up a few dolls this week that have been stuck in my head for quite some time. A few months back when I was brainstorming ideas for Christmas themed dolls I was writing down different things that remind me of the Christmas season – things like snow, evergreen trees, gingerbread, gumdrops and candy canes. And then I started thinking about the board game Candyland with all the different candy-themed characters. That’s when the idea popped in my head – a candy cane doll!! Finished up a new doll yesterday and decided to take her outside for a photo shoot. We had a tiny bit of snow left in our yard and I thought it would make a great backdrop. I think the pictures turned out great, but I froze my poor little fingers and toes in the process!!
