I have three Alice in Wonderland themed dolls ready to find new homes. All three art dolls will be for sale as a part of the “Down the Rabbit Hole” showcase held on Facebook. I finished up the second in this series of Valentines Dolls today. Both of these sad little sweethearts got a lot of positive feedback and only one is still available. I had wondered about how people would react to my more solemn take on this day of romance. Valentine’s day is a day that comes with a whole slew of mixed emotions. I finished up a few dolls this week that have been stuck in my head for quite some time. A few months back when I was brainstorming ideas for Christmas themed dolls I was writing down different things that remind me of the Christmas season – things like snow, evergreen trees, gingerbread, gumdrops and candy canes. And then I started thinking about the board game Candyland with all the different candy-themed characters. That’s when the idea popped in my head – a candy cane doll!!
